HKUST ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER MONTHLY BULLETIN
TIMELINE
Sep 20' - May 24'
MY ROLE
Events Coordinator (2020 – 2022)
President (2022 – 2024)
During my time as Events Coordinator (2020–2022), I was responsible for brainstorming ideas, writing articles, and directly creating and publishing the bulletin layouts. When I transitioned to President (2022–2024), my role shifted to managing the editorial team, overseeing the monthly pipeline to ensure production stayed on track, and handling the final proofreading before distribution.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center Monthly Bulletin serves as the central digital channel to connect, inform, and promote HKUST's startup community.
The newsletter delivers timely updates on campus innovation, founder spotlights, upcoming incubation programs, and venture funding opportunities.
By providing a consistent and engaging resource, the bulletin aims to keep students, alumni, and ecosystem partners deeply connected to the university's entrepreneurial network and drive active participation in center initiatives.
THE PROBLEM
Keeping a diverse student and founder community consistently engaged requires breaking down complex academic, funding, and event updates into a visually appealing and digestible format, while maintaining a strict monthly publishing cadence without sacrificing content accuracy.
THE SOLUTION
Executed the end-to-end newsletter strategy across both roles—initially driving content creation and visual layout design, and later leading the team's brainstorming sessions and running strict proofreading checks to ensure high-quality, punctual monthly distribution.
