MY ROLE

Marketing Intern

As the Marketing Intern, I handled public relations, found corporate sponsors, and managed partner relationships. I worked directly with business executives, non-profit teams, and journalists to secure funding, coordinate event logistics, write promotional copy, and get our initiatives featured in regional news outlets.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Women in Sports Empowered HK (WISE HK) runs community programs that use sports to build confidence, leadership, and life skills in women and girls.

To scale these initiatives, the organization relies on strong corporate partnerships and media visibility.

This portfolio highlights the strategy behind pitching to companies and running large-scale events, focusing on two main initiatives: a corporate leadership day with Credit Suisse to introduce high school girls to business environments, and a major community awareness campaign through Operation Santa Claus.

CREDIT SUISSE CORPORATE WORKSHOPS

THE PROBLEM

High school girls, especially from under-resourced backgrounds, rarely get early exposure to corporate environments or female role models in business, limiting their professional confidence and future career aspirations.

THE SOLUTION

Coordinated corporate immersion days with Credit Suisse, organising interactive workshops where teenage girls stepped into corporate offices, engaged directly with industry leaders, and participated in sports-based leadership exercises to build practical life and career skills.

OPERATION SANTA CLAUS PARTNERSHIP

THE PROBLEM

Grassroots non-profits require strong regional visibility and high-profile media backing to raise funds, break through deep-rooted cultural stereotypes, and ensure their community sports programs reach a wider audience.

THE SOLUTION

Coordinated community sports programs for under-resourced women/students, and managed the PR pipeline to secure articles in the South China Morning Post (SCMP) to drive regional visibility and boost campaign engagement.
